Innovation spaces

Projector

Within the city, all Dortmunder*innen should be able to see and experience innovations in the newly established PROJEKTOR - space for innovation and collaboration, in the middle of Westenhellweg!

Like a projector, the space is intended to map the city’s innovations – projecting them into the city – and also to serve as a workshop for the development of new innovative projects. Exhibitions, network meetings, project seminars, workshops, events, experiments and lectures for different target groups take place here – from robotics workshops for children and young people, the presentation of current research results to student working groups or dialog events with citizens.

The large display window with screen and presentation area can also be used to showcase innovations “made in Dortmund”. Many committed partners help to design the space and use it collaboratively. PROJEKTOR brings science to the city, presents innovative start-ups, stimulates discussions on future issues, networks local actors and creates visibility for current innovation topics.
