In 2021, the city of Dortmund received the iCapital Award from the European Commission for its holistic innovation concept “Innovation next Door” as “dortmund.de/icap”. The cooperation of science, economy, culture, administration and urban society plays a driving role in the innovation ecosystem of the city of Dortmund.
