The Academy for Theater and Digitality has moved into the emerging Digital Quarter at Dortmund Harbor. Almost 2000 m2 of floor space, 7 research labs, studios, workshops and rehearsal rooms provide space for prototypical research that combines art, science and digital technologies. To this end, fellowships, sponsored by a wide range of partner institutions, are awarded to artists and theater professionals from all over the world. As a globally unique model project, the Academy for Theater and Digitality is the center for the development of new theater forms and technologies that are significantly shaped by digitalization.
